It’s official: The architect of “Family Guy” and “American Dad” is now going to be simultaneously working on a third show as well. This time it’s a Family Guy spin-off “The Cleveland Show” starring the token black guy we’ve all come to know and love.
Now, I have to admit: I haven’t kept up with either Family Guy nor American Dad as of late. Part of that is due to the workload I had this past year but mostly it’s due to the fact that the jokes on Family Guy just seem a little too forced nowadays, not to mention the fact those 60-second musical jokes are more painful than listening to a William Shatner album on repeat.
With that being said though, I’m willing to give Cleveland’s show a chance when it debuts next Spring.
