Unless you’re a PSU fan who just returned from a remote island without any wireless signals, you know by now that College Gameday is making its triumphant return to Happy Valley this weekend.
Sadly, with my scholastic responsibilities increasing with every passing week, I will not be able to make it back for what should be one giant bacchanalian clusterfuck. In the meantime, I figured I’d share with you a photo from the previous Gameday held at PSU. My sign is to the far middle right of this pic, it’s a rather small sign that reads “PARTY LIKE IT’S 1994.” If you squint closely enough, you should at least make out the “PARTY” word on my sign.
- Also, thanks to a fellow PSU alum, Brian Chalfin: I present to you, a multimedia paradise of the last time the Buckeyes came into our house.
Making a return this Saturday as well (albeit, far less triumphant) is the basketball team’s Blue-White Scrimmage. The scrimmage will be held at the Jordan Center during the late afternoon and is open to the general public. It appears to be the first time ever such a scrimmage like this is being held during the Ed DeChellis era. Let’s just hope things go better than they did the last time such a scrimmage was held during what would turn out to be Jerry Dunn’s last hurrah.
