So, it looks like Penn State’s b-ball team is a 15.5 point favorite tomorrow when they prepare to take on the Denver Pioneers. I would do a more complete write-up of this game but quite frankly, there’s not much to worry about regarding this team. All you need to know is that they are coached by the former Princeton coach, Joe Scott, that they will run a Princeton offense much like our previous opponent, (perhaps at an even more slower clip) and that they only won 4 games last season. The only reason you should be fearful of this team is if Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony end up suiting up for them.
With that being said, I am picking PSU to cover the spread easily. We’ll see what my competition, Rants From The District decides to do.
EDIT: I received a phone call not too long ago from RFTD, and he too is picking PSU to cover the spread. Also, just to recap, here’s the current standings for our season-long contest which began with the Seton Hall game last Saturday:
